Southwest Florida is fortunate to have robust populations of some of the oceans biggest shallow water fish species. Gigantic Goliath Grouper are abundant along inshore bridges and nearshore shipwrecks. These grouper can grow in excess of 600lbs!!! Most Goliath Grouper we catch on our charters are 15olb – 300lbs. To catch these giants, we use live baits that weigh up to 20lbs themselves! This is truly an epic fishing experience.
The best way to describe the fight from one of these behemoths is to imagine holding onto a rod, tied to a VW bug driving away from you at 15mph. With a huge, powerful tail, these grouper can pull harder and stronger than any other inshore species.
Monsterous sharks roam our coastal waters in large numbers during the summer months. Massive bull, lemon, black tip and hammerhead sharks all make an appearance alone the beautiful beaches and passes of Southwest Florida. Not all shark fishing needs to be done at night. With our experience and timing tides right, giant sharks can be readily caught during the light of day!
